Family Matters Review

Last night, I was struggling to get to sleep. So, I decided to turn on the television and Nick at Night came on. The show was Family Matters and I immediately groaned in annoyance. I watched it a few times before, and I couldn’t stand it. The show is supposed to be a sitcom, but I really don’t find it funny. Don’t get me wrong, I love sitcoms. Some of my favorites are Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Roseanne, and I Love Lucy. I’m quite familiar with humor portrayed on screen occurring from every day events. Twilight: Worse than MTV

There's a lot of hype surrounding the series Twilight. I used to be one of its biggest fans. However, I've read better books since and reread Twilight from an analytical point of view. Boy was I surprised. The book wasn't as good as I used to think! Shocking, I know. Here I will post the reasons why I dislike the series now: I'll start with Meyer's writing. From the very first page the writing is choppy and clichéd. She uses phrases like 'her cheeks were red as tomatoes' and 'my blood was boiling'. Not my Country Until I'm 18

Well, I'm a virgin journalist here on DA. I'm doing this since I really want to become a better writer, and a good way to help is to write my thoughts and feelings down (aka word vomit).
